Tranmere have picked up two young players to bolster their squad.

Earlier in the week they signed midfielder Jack Young from Newcastle on loan for the rest of the season.

Today Sam Smith joined on loan from Reading until January. Tranmere are lacking in strikers at the moment with injuries to Stefan Payne & Morgan Ferrier. James Vaughan is also unavailable after last week's covid issues.
